Impian dan Realiti

Assalammualaikum;

Alhamdulillah. Done with all MA classes and assignments.

My final week was a disaster and stressful ever.

I've gained the amazing 3 kilos *ahaks* due to my non-stop snacking while doing all my reports.

Anyhow, three exam papers to look fwd too.

And, I do hope Malaysia's government to improve the student visa application process IF they want to succeed on being the education hub in Asia.

Imagine months w/o passport. Stories of student got arrested. University not being responsible. And at the end of the day, the embassy has to take part.

Little did I know Diana Amir got married to his other half.

Read it few days before, her preference to NOT have any hantaran

So, I posted this on my FB.

Mampukah aku ubah persepsi masyarakat seperti apa yang dilakukan dia?

Kenapa perlu hantaran entah apa", sdgkan ianya berunsur pembaziran?

Mahukah mereka di luar sana terima dgn apa yg aku rasa bagus untuk aku dan dia?

Kuatkah aku nanti utk terima tohmahan dan kritikan saudara?

"Tiada hantaran?"

"Buat malu keluarga!"

Berpeluangkah aku menegakkan kepentingan agama dari kemahuan keluarga dan kepentingan adat?

Buka mata. Buka minda. Siapa kita utk terus berada di zaman pentingkan adat?

Cukuplah dgn cita dunia yang aku kejar selama ini. Sebab aku tahu, aku harus mengejar cinta halal selepas ini.

I feel it is good to indirectly educating the public, and at the same time informing extended families.

Please understand. Bukan sebab mampu atau tak mampu.

Kenapa harus membazir bila Islam sebenarnya melarang.

And my elder sister texted me, saying "Nanti adik kawin mcm Diana Amir saja. Jgntah Majlis berbedak instead we do Khatam Quran. You have a year to read the Quran".

My reply was, "My childhood dream is to have all tradition events, but as I grow I understand the meaning of needs and wants. Pls let me have my Malam Berbedak. And, we can do the Khatam Quran instead of Malam Jaga2".

Lets see how it goes.

Tapi teman kuliah ajak pergi jalan" shopping.

Bila lagi kan?

Lepas ni masing" dah pulang ke negara asal.
